Capture One is the industry standard for tethering software around the world. While Capture One does have issues that you will hear photographers and techs complain about, Capture One is the best tethering software available. It is the standard because it provides the fastest tethering, best capture, organization and color tools and supports the most cameras, the most workflows and the most genres of photography. The other options do work, but are slow and have real problems. There are alternatives to Capture One, but not really any competitors.
